Rachel Urban

Rachel brings her extensive background in the nonprofit sector to her role as a Client Executive on our Risk Management team. She has over 20 years of fundraising experience in charitable nonprofit management throughout the Carolinas. Rachel’s leadership skills and passion for making a positive impact in the community helps drive Sentinel’s mission and vision forward.

Rachel has held leadership and development positions at the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association, where she successfully obtained substantial monetary donations from donors, making significant impacts in her local communities. In her role as Executive Director for Central and Eastern North Carolina for the American Cancer Society, Rachel led a large team across multiple regions, managing a revenue portfolio exceeding $10.5 million. Her specialty in cultivating enduring partnerships with key high net worth individuals and corporations has been instrumental in her achievements at Sentinel.   

Born in Latrobe, PA and raised in Greensboro, NC, Rachel graduated from UNC-Wilmington where she was a scholarship student-athlete on the varsity soccer team. She enjoys playing tennis and spending time at the beach when she is not rooting for her favorite Pittsburgh Steelers on game days.
