Effective January 2021, Sentinel Risk Advisors LLC will accept payments for premiums through its new digital payment platform. The system, enabled through a partnership with ePayPolicy, will provide Sentinel’s valued clients an increased level of convenience by offering online credit card and ACH payment functionality.
“We’ve accepted digital payments in the past but it has been cumbersome, requiring our clients to contact us with bank account information,” commented Jon Stubbe, Sentinel Risk Advisors Accounting Manager. “Now, we have a seamless integration that allows our clients to make direct payments in a safe, convenient and efficient manner.”
To make a payment, clients can simply visit sentinelra.epaypolicy.com and enter their email address, Sentinel account number and zip code. Their premium balance is then automatically populated for confirmation and then an option for payment type (credit card or ACH) is offered.
“From an accounting perspective, this new platform is incredibly easy and provides a significantly reduced turnaround time when compared to the traditional mail process, which involves the wait time for deposits to clear and manual entry of payments,” added Stubbe. “Through this program, Sentinel has improved a historically antiquated payment system prevalent in our industry to provide a higher level of service for our clients.”
