Sentinel recently partnered with a Park Ranger for the NC Department of Natural and Cultural Resources to clean up William B. Umstead State Park. Our team spent the afternoon in canoes cleaning up litter in and around the lake. Not only does this help the wildlife, it also keeps the park clean and safe for visitors.
Located in Wake County 10 miles northwest of downtown Raleigh, William B. Umstead State Park is a cherished retreat from bustling urban life. The park features an extensive network of hiking and multi-use trails, as well as three manmade lakes and their tributaries that are perfect for fishing.
