Hurricane Idalia - Updated Tuesday, August 29th

Tropical Storm Idalia has strengthened to a Hurricane early this morning (Tuesday, August 29th) and has potential to grow to at least a Category 3 Hurricane before making landfall over Florida’s Gulf Coast. Idalia is expected hit cities such as Tampa and Orlando before making its way to the Carolina coastline on Thursday.

We urge you to take precautions and visit our Sentinel Storm Center at for resources on preparation as well as what to do after the storm if damage occurs.
