Our Triangle team recently partnered with Inter-Faith Food Shuttle to assist with general farm tasks such as seasonal harvesting, packing, planting, weeding, pruning, mulching, and greenhouse work. Our team gathered close to 1,000 pounds of harvest from the farm!
As a Feeding America Food Bank, the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle recovers and distributes food to our low-income neighbors. They also provide programs designed to empower people with skills to meet their own food needs through culinary job training, beginner gardening, and cooking healthy on a budget. The Inter-Faith Food Shuttle feeds, teaches, and grows to create a hunger-free and healthy community.
