Sentinel recently partnered with The Women’s Center to host breakfast and lunch, and helped sort donations. By hosting breakfast and lunch, our team made an immediate impact and helped ensure that the women there were fed and didn’t leave hungry. We also sorted food, clothes, and hygiene items so that they were readily available for the women when they need them most.
The Women’s Center of Wake County serves marginalized single women experiencing homelessness. Many of their guests have histories of severe and persistent mental illness, sexual assault, violence, and trauma. Through their clinical and holistic approach, they assist each woman in reaching her goals.
