John Rous, MBA

As a Client Executive, John provides oversight, management, and implementation of all risk management programs to deliver an exceptional client experience. His desire to build strong relationships and improve the lives of others embodies the mission and values of Sentinel.

John boasts a strong background in development, primarily in the higher education setting, serving in leadership roles for both North Carolina State University and East Carolina University. His teams consistently excelled in cultivating and stewarding donors to increase annual support.

John and his wife, Monica, were high school sweethearts while growing up in Clayton, NC and married in 2021. They enjoy spending time with their dogs, Cooper and Ellie, traveling, and attending various music festivals and concerts.
