Maria Smith

Maria brings extensive insurance industry experience and a strong background in agency operations to Sentinel. Originally from West Virginia and a longtime Greensboro resident, she began her insurance career after joining a local agency and quickly discovered a passion for helping clients and supporting agency success. Her experience as an agency manager and team leader provides valuable insight into both the operational and client-service sides of the business.

Seeking a new challenge and opportunity for growth, Maria joined Sentinel to broaden her professional experience and contribute to a collaborative team environment. Her leadership background, industry knowledge, and commitment to service make her a valuable resource for both colleagues and clients.

Outside of work, Maria enjoys spending time with her family, visiting the beach, and creating watercolor artwork. She is active in her church’s children’s ministry and has supported charitable organizations such as Make-A-Wish, the Wounded Warrior Project, and the Guilford County Foster Care System. Known for her positive outlook and resilience, Maria brings both professionalism and warmth to everything she does.
