Preston Jones

Preston brings a strong foundation in risk management and insurance to Sentinel as an Account Advisor. Originally from Matthews, NC, he attended East Carolina University, where he became actively involved in the university’s Risk Management & Insurance program. After graduating, he returned to the Charlotte area and began his insurance career with an independent agency, gaining valuable industry experience while building a client-focused approach to service.

Drawn to Sentinel by its reputation for professional growth and collaborative culture, Preston saw an opportunity to join a firm where relationships and individual contributions truly matter. He values the chance to continue developing his expertise while working alongside a team dedicated to delivering exceptional results for clients.

Preston enjoys spending time with friends and family and exploring restaurants and local social venues. As a distant relative of John Montgomery Belk, one of the founders of the Belk department store family, Preston is now adding a unique piece of North Carolina history to his own story.
