Ryan Curet

As a Financial Consultant on Sentinel’s Employee Benefits Consulting team, Ryan helps employers turn the complexity of their health plan data into clear, confident decisions. He aggregates and analyzes financial claims and utilization data from across the carriers, vendors, and reports that typically live in silos, with the goal of providing companies an evident and coherent picture of how their benefits are performing and where meaningful opportunities exist to improve outcomes.

Ryan’s path to the industry began in the classroom, where he taught math at both the middle and high school levels. That experience shapes how he works today: translating dense financial reports and the often-convoluted mechanics of health insurance into something every audience—CFO, HR leader, or front-line employee—can understand and act on. Clients value his ability to demystify the numbers, frame trade-offs honestly, and partner with them to build budgets, cost-sharing strategies, and long-term plans grounded in real data rather than guesswork.

Ryan began his benefits career in Maryland as a Benefits Analyst with USI Insurance Services and held Senior Financial Benefit Consultant roles at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. and WTW before joining Sentinel.

Ryan and his wife, Mary, are parents to their son Rolly. Since moving to the Triangle from Baltimore in 2018, they’ve enjoyed everything the area offers, including taking trips to Wrightsville Beach and attending Hurricanes games.
