Shanna McIver

Shanna, as an Account Specialist for Sentinel Benefits Consulting, aids Account Advisors, Client Executives, Advantage Plan clients and other clients with specialized service needs. Specific service and marketing responsibilities include overseeing recurring group policy renewals, preparation of Requests for Proposals, and providing technical support in management of BenefitPoint, Employee Navigator, and Zywave systems.

Prior to joining Sentinel, Shanna spent several years as a paralegal after earning her Associates in Science in Paralegal Technology. Most recently, Shanna served as a Contract Administrator with Stewart Engineering where she evaluated the insurance details and coverage for each contract as well as coordinated with the Chief Financial Officer to assist with the contract management process.

Born and raised in Sanford, NC, Shanna met her husband, John, when they were students at Lee Senior High School. In their free time, Shanna and John enjoy attending their son’s basketball games and traveling.
